The Arctic is our home, and sharing its raw beauty is our greatest passion.

We live in Longyearbyen, living in the rhythm of polar night and 24-hour daylight.

This means we know every rock, every weather whim, and the most beautiful, hidden corners of the archipelago.

We know how to show you the best of Spitsbergen: safely, authentically, and far from mass, established tourism.

Financial security: MyArctic AS is a licensed Norwegian company based in Svalbard. We are an official member of the Norwegian Tourism Guarantee Fund (RFG) and Visit Svalbard.

This means you are 100% legally protected,
and we operate according to the highest, rigorous

Accomodation

Accommodation: Gjesthuset 102 (Nybyen)
Our base will be the atmospheric, historic guesthouse Gjesthuset 102, located in the upper part of town—in the historic mining district of Nybyen. This unique place has a soul, once home to Norwegian miners. A huge advantage of this location is that the legendary trekking trails to the Longyearbreen and Larsbreen glaciers begin literally outside the building's door!

Included in the price: Delicious, nutritious breakfasts served daily as a buffet—ideal for recharging your batteries before a frosty day.

Standard Rooms: Cozy, clean, and warm double rooms. Bathrooms and toilets are located in the hallway (cleaned regularly, high Scandinavian standards, and easy access). The guesthouse has a traditional policy of removing shoes upon entry, creating a homely atmosphere. Premium Option (additional fee): For those who value complete autonomy, we offer the option of a single room or a room with a private bathroom (at a different location in Longyearbyen) for an additional fee.

Please ask us about availability when booking.

Day 1: Welcome to the Arctic, 78°N (Monday, 15.02.2027)

Arrival and Logistics: After landing at Longyearbyen Airport (LYR) and collecting your luggage, you'll be transferred directly to the door of our guesthouse, Gjesthuset 102. We'll help you check in and unpack.

Longyearbyen Walking Tour and Local Secrets: After a short rest, we'll set off on a leisurely walk through the town. We'll stroll along the main promenade of the world's northernmost settlement. We'll show you what daily life is like for locals in such an extreme place, where to shop duty-free, where the best coffee is, and which restaurant is best for dinner.

Safety Check: In the evening, we'll sit down together to discuss the detailed plan for the following days. We'll provide professional training on safety rules in the Arctic in winter: how to choose the right layers, how to behave in the polar bear danger zone, and how safety procedures work.

Logistics and Meals: Dinner on your own at one of the local restaurants (we have reservations).

Day 2: Car sightseeing
(Tuesday, 16.02.2027)

Car Safari: After breakfast, we gather and climb into our car. We set off on a sightseeing and photo safari in and around Longyearbyen.

We'll drive deep into the wide Adventdalen valley.

You'll get a close-up view and learn about the island's fascinating industrial history – we'll tell you about the fate and historical secrets of Mines 5, 6, and Mine 7, which closed in 2025.

Then we'll drive to the other side of town, towards the wild Bjørndalen valley. This is a perfect time to admire the monumental landscapes and safely photograph nature without having to walk in the freezing cold.

Meals: Breakfast at the hotel, lunch, and dinner in town (not included).

Day 3: Call of the North – Snowmobile Expedition to Tempelfjorden
(Wednesday, 17.02.2027)

Instruction and professional gear: Today is a pure Arctic adventure and a rush of adrenaline. In the morning, we receive detailed training in snowmobile operation and the rules of riding in a convoy. Each participant receives full professional equipment: a one-piece, thick thermal suit, special Arctic boots, wool gloves, a balaclava, and a helmet with goggles.

Expedition to the Frozen Fjord: We set off into the depths of nature. We will traverse monumental, wide glacier valleys and canyons, where the only traces will be our skis. Along the way, we will look out for the wild inhabitants of Svalbard: the obese Spitsbergen reindeer and fluffy Arctic foxes. Our destination is Tempelfjorden—a charming, frozen fjord dominated by the spectacular front of the Tunabreen glacier and the distinctive Templet Mountain, reminiscent of a Gothic temple. Once there, we'll take a break for a hot drink and a warm expedition meal amidst the pristine whiteness.
Important for drivers: To operate a snowmobile, you must have a valid, physical driving license (category B or A). Passengers do not need a driving license. The ride is at a safe, tourist pace.

Duration: Approximately 6–7 hours (depending on ice and weather conditions).

Meals: Breakfast included. A warm, freeze-dried expedition meal and hot tea during the snowmobile trip are included.

Day 4:Hike to the Ice Cave
(Thursday, 18.02.2027)

Trekking into the Larsbreen Glacier:

After breakfast, we'll put on warm layers and set off. No transfers are needed—the trail begins right next to the guesthouse. We'll be trekking in winter with snowshoes or crampons (depending on conditions) towards the Larsbreen Glacier. The ascent is gentle, adapted to the group's strength. Ice Cave Exploration: At the glacier's summit, the highlight awaits us—a descent underground into a natural ice cave created by summer meltwater.

Equipped with helmets and headlamps, we'll enter the frozen ice labyrinth. You'll see incredible ice formations, crystals, and layers of snow compressed over hundreds of years. It's a safe yet breathtaking adventure. Evening relaxation in the sauna:

Trekking duration: approximately 4-5 hours. Helmets, headlamps, and non-slip equipment (crampons/snowshoes) are provided.

Sturdy hiking shoes and warm, windproof clothing are required.

Meals:
Lunch in the field (snacks provided), dinner in town (not provided).

Day 5: Dog Sledding
(Friday, 19.02.2027)

Instruction and professional gear: Today is a pure Arctic adventure and a classic adrenaline rush – you'll feel like an Arctic conqueror from years past – we'll conquer the valleys of Spitsbergen on a sled pulled by dogs!

In the morning, we'll receive detailed training in snow sled operation and the rules of riding in a convoy. Each participant receives full professional equipment: a one-piece, thick thermal suit, special Arctic boots, woolen gloves, a balaclava, and a helmet with goggles.

Expedition to the Frozen Valley: We'll head deep into the wilderness. We'll traverse monumental, wide glacier valleys and canyons, leaving only our skis behind.

We'll break for a hot drink and a warm expedition meal surrounded by pristine white snow.

Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours (depending on ice and weather conditions). Meals: Warm freeze-dried expedition meal and hot tea during the scooter trip included in the price.

Day 7: Farewell
(Sunday, 21.02.2027)

Last moments at 78°N: We're having our last breakfast together at Gjesthuset 102. It's time to pack up our souvenirs, take our last photos with a polar bear (that plush toy or the road sign!), and enjoy a farewell coffee overlooking the fjord.
