SUMMER ARCTIC EXPEDITION
SMALL ORGANIZED TRIP
A journey to the Arctic is an extraordinary expedition to the far northern regions of the Earth, where nature is rugged, landscapes captivate with their wilderness, and abandoned settlements in the Svalbard archipelago await discovery. It's not just an exploration of the Norwegian part of Spitsbergen Island but also a boat trip to the mining settlement of Barentsburg, where coal mining is still in operation. There, you'll have the opportunity to taste local craft beer or a shot of Barentsburg vodka.
In our journeys, you often uncover forgotten places, and this expedition will be no exception. We will sail to the abandoned Soviet town of Pyramiden, where we will step back in time, exploring abandoned buildings such as schools, cultural centers, hospitals, and city halls. At the end of the day, we'll watch a film from the 1980s, projected from a reel in an abandoned cinema in Pyramiden! We will also spend the night in Pyramiden.
